This is a fabulous multi-position adjustable bed that also functions as a sofa. If not needed, it folds up and can be easily rolled away. Fully extended, the mattress on the fold-a-bed measures 79in long. The head section can be raised to five different heights, from just elevating the head to a full upright position. When not being utilized for sleeping, the side of the fold-a-bed can be lifted horizontally to form a sofa. Covered in a dark blue quilted fabric. There’s a small metal rail that functions as a headboard and it has casters on its feet. To put away, just pull up on the handle and the bed folds itself in half and has a locking mechanism to hold it together. When folded, the bed measures 43-3/8in tall, 18-5/8in deep, 39-3/4in wide and can be stored in a closet until the next time there’s a need for extra seating or an additional place to sleep.
